Updated in a new fabric for AW20, the Michigan Cord Coat is an iconic outerwear style from Carhartt that offers comfort and warmth within a classic silhouette. The 8 wale cotton ‘Coventry’ corduroy selected for this design is naturally durable and insulating and has been dyed to a versatile black colourway. Throughout the inside of the jacket a cotton poplin diamond quilted lining has been added for additional warmth and the front is fastened by customised buttons which lead to the neat collar neckline. On either side of the chest curved pockets have been added, one with a button secured flap closure and the other with a woven branded label showing the signature Carhartt logo. Below this on either side of the waist two more patch pockets are also available for carrying essential items and each compartment is strengthened by bartack stitching at the corner points. Triple stitching has been used within construction for a durable finish and straight cut hems complete the body and long sleeves.
